This artwork started off as an abstract. However after layers were applied I could see this cockatoo peeking through & decided to just go with a childhood memory I had of my Dad & Mum taking myself & two sisters on a picnic up into the bush lands around Gloucester where streams meandered & the bird & wildlife were abundant.
